How to Research:
3 Tips to Research Your Destination
-
1. Library Books
Take books out at the library. The library is a fun way to learn about the places you want to go. Having books for both adults and kids is a great way for everyone to learn and get excited about the next adventure. It’s accessible to everyone and free!

2. Travel Info Centres & Their Websites
Go to the travel info centre of your destination. Or check them out online. We went to Travel Manitoba’s Visitors Info Centre at the Forks and found all the brochures and guide-booklets to inspire our Northern Manitoba adventure.

3. Guide Books
Get a good guidebook. You want a guidebook that shares some history, culture & food, maps, and activities. In Manitoba, here are a few guidebooks we use: Hike MB: 79 Trails, A Daytripper's Guide to MB, and Backroad Mapbooks Manitoba.
